Humble TX Photographer: My Chocolate Lab

She is the sweetest girl. If she could go with us everywhere, she would. If I could take her everywhere I would. She has separation anxiety. When Wittles is with her she seems to do better. But Wittles is an entirely different story. I must get lunch now. For my belly is about to cave in or I'd share some of Wittles' stories with you. For now, I'll leave you with what I have to put up with all day long with these two.
ps...Tiggy are you out there? I love you! (Tiggy is my aunt;)

Godiva Ta
(long a sound)

This is Wittles. She's a mess. She adorable. She is mean to Diba sometimes. She is cuddly. Yes, that's the fan...our noise maker at night or during a nap. It's been through alot.

They follow me wherever I go.

Humble Photographer: My Light

When exposed to Light I am clean, pure, radiant.
The Light feels warm on my face.
The Light brings out the best in me.

In thy light shall we see light. Psalms 27:1
As I looked at the first photo of me that my youngest shot, I began noticing the vast difference of light and it's effects on my face. The right side of my face is glowing and radiant, impurities erased. The right side is seemingly flawless with the prettiest of browns reflected and shown in my eyes.
While the side with shadows and darkness tend to only magnify my imperfections. The only good thing about the dark side is that my chin hair is not visible. I choose to live as the second photo suggests...in His light.

Shine on me, in me, through me Lord. Amen.

The LORD is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

My breath, my sunshine, my all in all!

Humble TX Photographer: Glorious Light

I'm sure I looked like the little Dr. in Hyde and Hare. When I saw it, I twitched and contorted my face. It just ambushed me when I walked into the room. Not seeing it for a few days does that to some people. (me) The sun was bright and warm. It's rays were gloriously filling one particular spot in my bedroom. Angels were singing and dust was magnified heavily. Ew.

I looked for a vict...I mean subject. "Oh the cute little blondie will do just fine," I thought to myself. "Hey, B...let mama take some pictures of you real quick." "Okay!" "Wha? Let me get my camera. Hop up on the bed and sit right where the light is." Oh mesmerizing, spellbinding, make-me-melt sunshine-o-mine. Wahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!

Click. Click. "Oh yah, that's great!" "You done?" "Wha?" "Uh just a few more baby." And then I saw it: The Fan. We have it as a noise maker when we sleep. (Our ceiling fan went all Willy Wonka on us or "Wonkified" if you will.) "Oh my goodness! Let's turn on the fan! "Let's turn on The Fan and see what it does to your hair!" "Okay." These are some of my favorite images ever. I love that littlest blondie girl of mine.

Sniffing.

Ahhhhhh! Sheet washing day. Silly face.

Humble TX Photographer: New Year: Better Me.

Desiring to better myself, these words/actions/traits/richness in character/name makers popped into my mind: Confidence. Meekness. Humbleness. Wisdom. I will strive for these not only in 2009 but all the days of my life.

Confidence.
For the LORD shall be thy confidence...Proverbs 3:26
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8

Meekness.
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Humbleness.
A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Wisdom.
For the LORD giveth wisdom...Proverbs 2:6
