Humble Kingwood TX Children's Engagement Family Photographer: Beautiful Child

This child that God has given me brings much happiness and light into my life. She gives the best smushy kisses to me on my cheek. These are probably my most adored portraits that I have of her.

Humble Kingwood TX Senior Photographer: Class Act

I really think that the title of this post describes her to a "T." She is classy. Top of her class I believe! She took care of all the gathering of information from me and scheduling of her shoot! She's a mean business woman! Her communication skills blow me away. Her desire to succeed is strong. She will absolutely do well at whatever she puts her hands and mind to.

She wanted something different for her Senior portraits. So she came to me! I just LOVE my clients!!! She was so much fun to work with! So liberating for me to just give her an idea and her to run with it and not be like: "Wha?" when I told her an idea. Siiiiigh. Here's Ms. Class now...

Humble Kingwood TX Baby Children's Photographer: My She's Grown

My she's grown. Her hair is still dark and eyes as blue as ice complete with sparkles. There's a few things that've changed about Baby D though. She can talk. She can walk. She can eat candy now! She can steal your heart. (ooops, that hasn't changed!) She can still give those pensive looks. She's 100% adorable; voice as sweet as sugar. Mr. C, you have a beautiful daughter.
Her most beloved little lamb.

Humble Kingwood Atascocita TX Children's Family Senior Photographer: Seasons

The following words are for those who are in a season of their lives in which is despised, unsure of, dreading.

Seasons. They were God's idea. Introduced in the Genesis record, the psalmists, the prophets, the wise man of Ecclesiastes, and the apostles recognized seasons as an integral part of God's program for the earth and its people. Cooperating with the seasons brings productivity. Struggling with the seasons brings frustration. God broke life into seasons and there is much to be learned from His wisdom.

Life is a progression of changes. As sure as seasons direct the course of nature, our lives proceed through progressive seasons. Every season, from youth to old age, has its own responsibilities and rewards. Sensitivity to the responsibilities of each season will assure a greater harvest for succeeding seasons. Every woman is not called to do all things at all times. Primary responsibilities will change at various times of life and as they do, new opportunities will become available.
Make full use of the present season of your life, whatever it is. Even the dormant season can become a special time for needed rest, quiet listening to God, and fresh study. Do not waste growing time wishing you were someone else, somewhere else, doing something else. This is an exercise in futility. God made you as you are to use you as He planned. To live fully, your present is the best insurance for your future.
Understanding the law of seasons can relieve pressure for the present and increase faith for the future. While we anticipate the fruit, we must understand the process. Remember: You will bring forth fruit in due season. (Psalm 1:3)

Humble Kingwood TX Children's Senior Baby Photographer: Giving

Giving is fun! Giving is cool. Giving puts a smile on faces. I will be a giver. I used to not be a giver, only a receiver. I have been a better giver lately. And I LOVE it! It freaks people out and the look on their faces are priceless as I slip them a $10 gift card to Starbucks or send a box of shirts and ties to a fabulous friend of our family! No, sometimes I don't even know the person I give to. Like when I drove through Starbucks and paid for the girl behind me...she got yogurt and a tea. It was the coolest feeling in the world to do that. Or watching my husband pay for a cop's coffee was cool too. He's done that several times. Our church, this past Friday March 6, 2009 fed the entire Humble Police Department for no reason at all! Well, okay, we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus. But nothing was expected in return. ExceptforwhenImaygetaticketI'llremindthemofthatgloriousBBQlunch! Ha! Not really! Is "Sike" too old and dorky to insert here? Anyway, giving gives sunshine to those who may be without it. It lets people know you care and that God cares about them. He likes working through you to be a blessing to others. And really, you get the biggest blessing and sunshine feeling when you're the giver! Just remember that you would love it if someone gave to you.
And randomness in photos today...

I LOVE dogs! This was snapped of me in December. I love the look on Bella's face and Lexie is so loving!

This was A's gift from my hillarious sister-in-law and her family for her birthday. We are so full of corn it's not even funny. Well, yes it is!
