Humble Kingwood TX Senior Family Photographer: Stars, Stripes, Piano, Woods

Rocks, hills, pianos, pools, politics, boats, sun, sweating, nature, fourwheelers, fishing poles, fishing holes, mud puddles, four-mile-high hikes. I'm talking about Jarrod's session! It was filled with all of the above! I had yet to experience a session like this one...until yesterday! We rode the four wheeler to get to some of his favorite spots! He likes bow hunting, fishing, playing the piano, (yes, he played while I shot! YES!), his dogs, and a slew of other things. Quite talented he is. I was blessed to be chosen to photograph him. And now...the uber talented Jarrod.

Humble Kingwood TX Senior Photographer: Kyle

In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE getting close ups! Faces intrigue me. And I'm totally in love with the shot posted first below. I'm pretty sure Clavin Klein reps will be calling you soon! (oh i hope i didn't just embarass you Kyle!) Anyway, we (Hey Janet!) had a great time in downtown Houston. We shot these by Minute Maid Park and coolio doesn't even describe the area! As we were shooting, this lady along with her family walks by and says to Kyle: "SMILE!" and erupts into a nervous laughter. I didn't say a word- just smiled. But in my mind I was thinking Hey Lady! MYOB! He's not a smiler! He's ultra calm and he doesn't "smile" for pictures! I was about to get all fierce and protective on her! Some are smiliers, some are not, some are both. I always ask before our session because I want to capture "who" my clients are. And I feel really good about capturing Kyle and who he really is.

Humble Houston TX Senior Photographer: Deep Soul

I photographed Kyle today. He's a Senior. I believe him to be a very deep soul. He was so calm and peaceful. Few people I come across are this way and believe them to be extraordinary. I love how God creates his people. He plays the organ and I wish I would've had one in the middle of the street today...though I don't know if I would've worked...I may have just soaked up the music being piped into mine ears. Of course this black and white version simply puts me on the moon! More coming soon...just had to get this one on here.

What a delight to be with them today. Caleb slept through his session...he was quite comfortable. He sunbathed by the window as we took notice of his every beloved baby feature. He was perched and swaddled and wrapped. He was perfect! Mommy...you have a most beautiful baby boy.
