CAFFIENE and BFF's

It all started yesterday evening at about 5:30 pm. We went to Luby's with my mother in law and I kneewwwwww I shouldn't have reached for it's tasteful, perfectly blended, delicious iced tea! I knewwwwwwwwww it would keep me up. But I didn't know it would keep me up until 3am! And for me, that's a whole nother world. I'm not a night owl. Early to bed/early to rise is my motto. So, I'm up looking through and editing my photos that my mother in law snapped of us for our Christmas cards and sleep is no where to be found. I'm wide eyed and ready to go! I'm SO excited about our Christmas cards this year! They are so, so, so adorable. I had all kinds of thoughts and creative moments going through my head in the wee hours today. So I made up our own words in our cards and now am having hot flashes and jolts of second thoughts about them. I was feeling a little silly and it kinda came out and just leaped from my head to my fingers in a flash. I typed them. Copied them. Pasted them. Laughed at them. And now am having fits over them. The words are to the tune of: Hark! The Herald Angels Sing I sang the little ode to MyRick, and he laughed. And the next words out of his mouth were: do you think anyone'll get it? Well, that's not exactly what I wanted to hear. I just need to stop sweating it and believe that in my moment of deliriousness, that cute little ode was destined to be. When it gets closer to Christmas, (my favorite time of year!) I'll post the words to: Ode of The Johnson Family along with our photos and you can see if you get it. Oh Lord, please let them get it! I think I might be exaggerating and overreacting a bit.

And now because they go together like peanut butter and jelly, popcorn and coke, pumpkin pie and whipped cream, horse and rider, tooth and gum (that was MyRick's)

love love love the leap frog!!! love this whole set!
i gotta say that when hank sr came on i got some serious nostalgia. i haven't heard his music since i was a kid. my dad would sing along with him in the car and every where for that matter. i'm not a huge country music fan, but hearing that just made me smile.
i also wanted to say your images has a lot of feeling and happiness to them.
